Detailed Full Body Assessment Review: ​ "I went to see Joanna at Metta whilst seeking help with injury sustained from lifting and general muscle stiffness. I booked a full body assessment to determine where my body was imbalanced and to highlight the areas which need focus and strengthening. The assessment was incredibly detailed and highlighted all the areas that need attention - this has become a really useful reference for when I am exercising. As a result of the Body Assessment I have since taken several Yoga therapy classes at Metta. Yoga is something I never thought I would get into, but I have found the classes to be physically beneficial and mentally rewarding as I have been able to get my body moving back the way it needs to be. Finding a relaxed, alert and balanced physical posture will apply to the mind also: if you remain in a state of mental relaxation, the "mental sediment" of thoughts, emotions, sensations and perceptions naturally subsides and the mind's innate clarity is revealed.

This full body assessment will help the client become aware of where their posture is poor so that they can consciously work on correcting it and relieve pain, tension and/or injury in the long-term.

Realigning will heal problems such as: neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain (including rotator cuff injuries), reoccurring headaches and migraines, elbow pain, (including golfer's and tennis elbow), wrist pain (including carpel tunnel syndrome), hip pain, knee pain, shin splints, ankle foot pain (including bunions, hard skin and Plantar Fasciitis), arthritis, shin problems and sports injury. Realigning the body also helps with relaxing the mind; and improving breathing, confidence, and mood.

Yoga Therapy sessions in Bath are optionally offered after this, which offer detailed lessons of tailored Yoga Postures to assist the client in realigning their specific body misalignments and continuing the journey of clearing discomfort or pain in the body at the structural level.
