Want to get rid of upper back pain and tension in the rhomboid area and surrounding (as well as other body pain and tensions)? Work on your rhomboid muscles of the upper back between the shoulder blades: strengthening and stretching them with the yoga postures and exercise given here to do at least 2 times per day (increasing when you feel comfortable to do so).
Developing good posture is the best thing you can do to relieve you of your pain and tension long term. Shoulders level to each other and the base level of the neck, shoulder blades retracting towards each other behind your back, chest open, neck straight, supported by the strengthened muscles and joint structures.
