Legs Up the Wall Pose (Viparita Karini)

Body Mind

We talk a lot about backbends, inversions, and flow sequences—but some of the most powerful healing happens in stillness. One of the most underrated yet profoundly calming yoga poses I share with clients is Viparita Karani (Legs-Up-the-Wall).

This gentle inversion soothes the nervous system, helps drain lymphatic fluid, and eases anxiety and overwhelm in just a few minutes.

Perfect for:

– Calming a racing mind

– Relieving heavy legs and lower back tension

– Supporting hormonal balance and sleep quality

– Resetting after long days on your feet or behind a screen

You don’t need props or flexibility—just a wall and 5–15 minutes.
