Having a Thai Body Massage with your partner is a therapeutic, healing, relaxing, and bonding experience for both parties. It can be used as part of a couple's therapy programme or just to enjoy the beneficial experience with your loved one. This joint therapy is offered in Bath only. 

Thai Body Massage uses pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. This is an ancient healing practice that originated in India over 2,500 years ago. Originally regarded as a healing art, traditional Thai massage includes influences from both Ayurvedic (Indian Healing Lifestyle practices) and traditional Chinese medicine.

Unlike Swedish massage techniques, which use oils with the person lying on a massage table, in Thai Body Massage, the client lies on a Thai mat on the floor in comfortable and loose clothing, as the therapist uses their hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of passive yoga-like stretches. The therapist also applies deep muscle compression, joint mobilisation, and acupressure to clear blocked meridians, "sens", or energy channels in the body, to heal the client mentally, physically and emotionally.

Thai Body Massage is based on the idea that energy moves through your body along predictable lines or pathways known as "sens". To increase the flow of energy along the "sens", the therapist moves your body into the yoga-like positions in addition to pulling and rocking your body in various ways. The combination of stretching, movement, and pressure is what ultimately distinguishes Thai Body Massage from other types of massage.
